CRIT

For grown-ups

Terms of Use

The short version

The agreement

These terms apply to the CRIT Run app for iPhone and iPad (“CRIT”), published by Dimitrios Athinaios (“we”, “us”). By using CRIT you agree to them and to Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “Standard EULA”), which also applies. If these terms and the Standard EULA conflict, the Standard EULA wins.

If CRIT is used by a child, the parent or guardian accepts these terms for them and decides how the child uses the app.

The CRIT Pass

Coins, gems, packs and ads

Coins, gems, chests, characters, power-ups and other in-game items are earned by playing. You can also buy coin and gem packs through the App Store; the price is shown before you confirm.

In-game items are a licence to use content inside CRIT. They are not property, have no cash value, and cannot be sold, exchanged for money or transferred. Because they are stored on your device, they can be lost if the app or its data is deleted. Packs are used up when bought, so Restore purchases does not bring them back.

Free players in a normal profile can choose to watch a short rewarded ad, for example to continue after losing in Endless or Rule Rush, or for a free daily chest. Ads are never shown in a child profile, and never with the CRIT Pass.

Purchases and children

Every purchase, restore and link out of the app sits behind a grown-up gate. In a child profile, anything that costs real money also needs the parent PIN. Grown-ups can also turn off purchases on the device in iOS Settings → Screen Time.

Fair play

Please play fair. Don’t cheat, use bugs or modified apps to change scores or items, or send fake scores to the leaderboards. We may remove scores that look impossible, and Apple may act under the Game Center terms. Please don’t copy, modify, reverse engineer or resell the app, or try to get around the parental gate or the subscription. CRIT’s art, characters, questions and code belong to us or our licensors.

About the learning content

We work hard to make every question correct and suitable for its level, but CRIT is a game that supports learning; it does not replace school or a teacher. If you spot a mistake, tell us and we will fix it.

Play safely

CRIT uses movement, bright colours and quick changes on screen. Take breaks, and stop if anyone feels unwell. You can reduce motion in the app’s settings.

Changes, availability and liability

We may update CRIT and these terms. If a change matters, we will update the date above; for subscription price rises, Apple asks for your consent where the law requires it. CRIT is provided “as is” to the extent the law allows. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by contract.
