Contact us

Email us about anything: a bug, a wrong question, a purchase or an idea. [email protected] We usually reply within 2 working days. CRIT Run is made by a small independent team, so please be patient at busy times.

It helps to tell us your device (for example iPhone 15), the iOS version and the app version (shown in the app’s settings). Please don’t send a child’s full name or other personal details. For privacy requests, write to [email protected].

Common questions

How do I restore my purchases?

Open the app’s settings, go to the grown-ups area and tap Restore purchases, then answer the grown-up question. Make sure the device is signed in to the same Apple account that made the purchase.

Restore brings back the CRIT Pass (subscription or Lifetime). Coin and gem packs are used up when bought, so they can’t be restored.

How do I manage or cancel the CRIT Pass?

On your iPhone or iPad go to Settings → your name → Subscriptions → CRIT Run. You can also open it from the CRIT Pass screen in the app. Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date to avoid the next charge. The Pass stays until the end of the period you paid for.

Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

How do I delete my data?

Everything is stored on your device, so you are in control. Use Delete all data in the grown-ups area of the app’s settings to reset CRIT to a fresh install, or simply delete the app. We have no copy on our side to delete.

Deleting the app’s data also removes coins, gems and characters. A CRIT Pass can be brought back with Restore purchases.

What parental controls are there?

Make a child profile for younger players. Child profiles never show ads, never appear on leaderboards, and need the parent PIN for anything that costs money. Every purchase and link out of the app also sits behind a grown-up question.

You can also use Apple’s Screen Time (Settings → Screen Time) to limit play time or turn off in-app purchases. Forgot the parent PIN? Tap Forgot PIN? on the PIN pad: it shows your hint, then a grown-up question lets you set a new PIN.

What name shows on the leaderboards?

Leaderboards use Apple’s Game Center, so other players see your Game Center name, not your CRIT nickname. To change it, go to Settings → Game Center and edit your nickname there.

Your CRIT nickname is chosen in the app, passes a kid-safe filter and stays on your device. Child profiles and players under 13 never take part in leaderboards.

Why did I see an ad?

Free players in a normal profile can choose to watch a short ad to continue after losing in Endless or Rule Rush, or to open a free daily chest. Ads only play when you tap to watch one. The CRIT Pass removes ads, and child profiles never see them.
